Despite being short 14-26 page editions of the Sunday Funnies, comics have a very unique maturation in terms of value. Unlike, cars, homes, or even your fancy new PS4 comics rarely ever depreciate immediately after you purchase them. Instead, they continue to slowly increase in value – sometimes at an exponential rate depending on the character and the cultural shock provided from the comic itself.
